This product is exactly as advertised and I actually really like the oversized wooden bead on the leather strap as it helps keep the bag shut more than I would have expected. There are several down-sides to this bag, however. The first thing I noticed is that the shoulder straps are pretty sharp against your shoulder and neck if you actually sling the bag over your shoulder. There isn’t any sort of rubbery edging over the cut edges to protect your skin from chafing like there is on all my other handbags. Once the leather starts to soften from use it isn’t so bad. Secondly, the inner zipper pocket is pretty flimsy, given that the lining fabric is super-thin, so you can’t put anything heavy in there, like keys or a cell phone. Finally, the bag is deep and the top is narrow, so it is difficult to rummage around in the bag to find anything if you have more than just a couple of items in there. I’ll use it as this summer’s purse but won’t be trying to extend its life beyond this year.**Update - after a few weeks of using the bag on and off, I still really like it. Except that it is sorta small, it holds all my stuff but its sometimes hard to find what I need in there. My solution has been to just keep all makeup in a bag and try to keep everything in the same order when I take things out/put them back. I have gotten several compliments on the bag, so thats always nice :)I found this bag after reading an article about great bags on Amazon, and I'm so glad I clicked that link! ?Here are my thoughts, I hope they help someone decide if this bag is for them or not:1. This arrived so darn fast! I ordered it 12/26/18 and got it 1/4. I was thrilled since Amazon estimated the ETA as late January/early February. I live in central Ohio, FYI.2. First impressions: it's exactly as pictured. Super cute and is the right size for my needs. Also, it came with a free gift of some ponytail holders. I have a super short pixie cut so I'm giving them away but the gesture is adorable. :-)I especially like the tassel/ball feature on the front. The straps are cool, I like the drawstring style. They are just the right length for me as I usually go for top handle bags I can carry over my arm/elbow. I like that the shoulder strap is adjustable and that the bag can be versatile and worn in different ways. The bag does not have any weird odor, something I'm aware that some non-leather bags can have.3. Size/Can it carry all my sh*t? YES!I don't carry a whole lot of stuff but I like to be prepared. According to my husband, I carry "too much." I have a large Michael Kors wallet, a small/medium makeup bag, body spray, pens, hand sanitizer, mints and gum, sanitary supplies and Cottonelle wipes, normal purse-type contents.I immediately switched bags when I ripped open this package and this little beauty is able to hold all my supplies!Sidenote: I have a small Kindle that's about the size of my iPhone and I can fit it into this bag, too.I work a retail job and have to put my bag in one of those cube-shaped lockers while at work and this bag is a perfect fit!I've been looking for a cute bag that can also fit in that dumb locker. Eureka!4. What I'm not sure I like: As thrilled as I am with the style and overall shape, I really don't like that the inside does not have any dividers/pockets/slip pockets.Typically, I like bags with a divider so I can find my stuff easier. And at least one slip pocket for my phone/pens.That said, this does come with a little attached zippered pouch inside, so it's not a huge deal. I usually have my phone in a car holder or hoodie or jeans pocket anyway5. would I recommend this bag? Hell yeah! If you like medium bags in a bucket style then this is great.I also love that this bag is such a great price and yet looks much more expensive.I carried this to work last night and today and I already got some compliments on it.I will update this after I've used the bag for a while to see how it wears.This straw handbag is both lightweight and durable. It goes with everything and I got so many compliments from people who loved the way it looked. On top of all that, the price was perfect!The straw bag was nice and a smaller size than I thought it would be. This was a plus for me since I like smaller bags. What I didn't like were the straps. They look like leather in the picture, but it's a cheap plastic look. I would have kept it if the strap looked nicer.This is a lightweight woven purse with a thin lining that has one zippered pocket in lining. Ideally the straps and the purse sides should be a little more substantial to stand up but they are very flexible. It’s a cute purse to carry on shoulder holding a few items & hopefully will hold up thru the summer.This isn’t a pair of shoes, but it’s a nice purse.Scratchy on arm while holding it.
