This is a gorgeous, rather large bag, for the pool or beach. Why? Because it's waterproof! It's soooo smooth. Of course, it's clear too, but it also has mesh pockets on the sides and 2 grommets on the bottom so those openings can help for water or maybe sand, too. The strapping on each side for the handles goes all the way around the bottom of the bag, too, for additional strength.The metal (good quality) zipper closes all the way up with no extra openings on either side of it. You have three extra little clear pockets on the front (not the back, however), and those do not have openings for drainage. Everything is really well-sewn on this vinyl bag, though. Nice straight, even, tight stitching, with reinforcement at the more heavily-used areas.There's a zippered privacy pocket inside, also, which is kind of odd because it's see-through so I'm not sure why you really need a privacy pocket. But, regardless, it's there and it's not breathable nor does it have any drainage. There are D-rings on either side of the bag and an included strap so you can use it as a shoulder carry bag instead of just with the handles to carry it.This bag (to me) would be so useful for a beach trip or a pool visit. I got mine so that my kid can use it for swim lessons to carry her towel and other items in it. To me the price is fair for the quality of this bag, the size, and the really nice, stylish look. HIGHLY recommend this bag, love it!
